Even more entertaining is the fact that Apple is so arrogant they fail to realize how stupid they look.

Samsung is a parts manufacturer, not designer, for some of Apple's components. Apple has also been moving to another manufacturer, many of them in fact, over the past few months...also, you've got this backwards, Apple is Samsung's biggest customer.

Oh please, get off your PC high horse for a second and come back to reality. Yeah, no one should get beat up and bullied. I'd also love for the world to be filled with rainbows and unicorns all the time too. However, if I walk around drunk in a bad part of town flashing a suitcase full of cash, well I shouldn't be shocked that I get robbed. I know people don't like to take personal responsibility for their actions these days and everyone's ready to sue someone else because nothing is ever their fault. But most reasonable people should realize that being drunk in the ghetto as a transgendered guy isn't the brightest idea.
And rape victims deserved it because they wore miniskirts too.
Being drunk in a 'bad part of town' and flashing whatever is one thing. But that's no excuse, reason, or justification for you being attacked as a result.
Being a transgender, drunk, and in a rich country club isn't going to be very bright either.
Just being transgender is more than enough.
Especially with bigger issues in this world and people would rather prod each other out of a perceived sense of sensibility or lack thereof. Indeed, in the ideal environment, everybody would flash cash and could do so in absolute safety. I think they're currently called "gated communities". I wonder why.

Just like quitting smoking is dead easy for some people but really difficult for others? My gran after 50+ years of chain smoking just simply stopped. She says she had no problem, just didn't feel like spending to money anymore. I smoke about 5 cigs a day since the age of 13 and still struggling to quit.
IMHO it is all about desire and willpower. I, too, smoked from the time I was 13, and did it for 25 years. I tried to quit many times, and mostly just got hooked on nicotine gum/lozenges instead for a few months at a time. Finally, a few years ago, the motivation and environment matched up and I said "screw this." Smoke-free ever since, and while I will probably always be super-sensitive to the smell of a nice burning tobacco leaf, I really am done with it. Good luck with your own battle.
Similar to the situation with the 30,000 calorie lady, I don't care if people smoke or not. You know it's unhealthy; it's your right to be that way. It's none of my business... until it starts affecting me, via pitching in for your eventual treatment or having butts thrown at me or onto my property.

Oh great. I'm going to have to tie up my Internet connection for a long period of time to update my 4G iPod touch and iPad 2 for the 4.3.2 update. :rolleyes:
I REALLY hope that Apple does incremental updates of iOS starting with iOS 5.0 to save us from tying up the broadband connection for such a long period of time.

You need some strong suction cups to remove the screen (the whole back chassis is one piece, the only access is via the screen) and more importantly a dust-free environment, otherwise when you put the screen back on (or rather the glass pane in front of the actual screen) you can easily trap dust between the glass and the monitor.
The difficult thing is the dust-free environment.

IMHO--A solid upgrade. Same price point but more memory, more video ram, fw 800, dual layer burner.
I'm jealous! I have a the original Macbook Pro. But my laptop was just fine yesterday so I won't be upgrading til the next major upgrade.

One thing that is buried in all of this is that Apple is FINALLY offering a magsafe airline power adaptor for their laptops, for $59.00. I have been doing a ton of cross-country flying recently, and carting two batteries to try to keep my laptop juiced up on the trip. I have waited for months for an in-flight power solution. Apple has finally come through with this! :D

Does anyone know if the home sharing play count bug has been fixed? I'd upgrade if it has but if it hasn't I'll stick with my 4.3.1 jailbreak.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about there was a bug where home sharing to device was not updating song play counts in iTunes like it's suppose to.

You had to manually tick a box which counted Home Sharing play counts on the iTunes overall one.

The addition of gestures is certainly not the result of this update. I installed the update on an iPad and gestures weren't included. After configuring the iPad for development within Xcode, the gestures option appeared. It's still for developmental purposes only.

Looks ugly and much like a photo shopped iPod touch. Plus the bottom is to thin to support the 30pin as the iPod touch is just about big enough and losing half it's depth would be to narrow. Plus getting screen plus a5 plus screen into that form factor doesn't seem possible oh and don't forget a decent battery.
